determine if file is package

  • Subject: determine if file is package

I was wondering if there is an other way of finding out besides [[NSWorkspace sharedWorkspace] isFilePackageAtPath:aPath] if a file is a package or not?
The reason I ask is that -isFilePackageAtPath: is really slow.
