But why would you want to write an ftp virtual folder using a kernel extension so you can access it in the shell? This is completely not what the original poster wanted. He could just use ncftp and be very happy.


Believe me it would be great to have Finder extensions à la M$ Explorer, I would be able to do some things that I cannot do at the moment and that only make sense from within a GUI environment.
