NSPredicate - combining constant string with variable in expression?

  • Subject: NSPredicate - combining constant string with variable in expression?

Is it possible for the right hand side of an expression to be made up of part constant string, part variable?

For example, I'd like to do something like:

ANY department.name LIKE[cd] "*$value*"

but if I write it like that, the variable isn't substituted before evaluation.

Thanks,
Jim
