That's one idea, but we're also trying to learn something from the
process itself. That's the pedagogical aspect, I guess :)

Why don't you just write a tool that fetches images from one of
those providers, and then puts them in a given directory, deleting
old ones after some time? Then you could use Apple's screensaver,
pointing it to that directory, and that would be it... No need to
reinvent the wheel (unless you're doing that project for
pedagogical reasons, of course).
