Hi Team...

I have successfully managed to integrate the core components that I need from WhackedTV into my program.
I next want to add a "overlay" if that's the right term - actually a photoshop image with a mask (i.e. I want a gun sight target).
I'm not sure where to start. Any pointers?

Take a look at Quartz Composer. I suspect you're writing a lot of unnecessary code.
