Have you asked the Google folks? I'm not sure it'd be entirely legal to just integrate parts of another app (or the whole) into yours, even if you made people separately download the other app. IANAL, and law's different in every part of the world anyway, but your app could be seen as a derivative work (for which you need permission or you're violating Copyright), and even misrepresentation of authorship/ownership.


Anyway, there's lots of Google APIs, so maybe they're interested in offering you one for your app. If they aren't, it might be smarter to more obviously "remote control" Google Earth instead of trying to integrate it smoothly.
