Uli,
If you read my original message, I'm merely trying to control the size
and position of Google Earth's window. For instance, I can send
Safari, via AppleScript, "set bounds of window 1 to {1, 1, 800, 800}"
and that can position a Safari window where I want it. I'm trying to
accomplish a similar thing with Google Earth, so that I can position
it's window in an appropriate location.. But I can't seem to find a
Cocoa way to do this..
But thanks anyway ..............

Have you asked the Google folks? I'm not sure it'd be entirely
legal to just integrate parts of another app (or the whole) into
yours, even if you made people separately download the other app.
IANAL, and law's different in every part of the world anyway, but
your app could be seen as a derivative work (for which you need
permission or you're violating Copyright), and even misrepresentation
of authorship/ownership.
Anyway, there's lots of Google APIs, so maybe they're interested in
offering you one for your app. If they aren't, it might be smarter to
more obviously "remote control" Google Earth instead of trying to
integrate it smoothly.
Cheers,
