Hi,

I am trying to run hyperic agent as a root process. When I am trying to run agent as root process the permissions for Data folder which is present in agent installer are being modified.

Can anyone suggest me the alternative such that the permissions for folder are not changed when a process is run as root process or can anyone suggest me alternatives for reverting back the permissions for that folder.

You'll need to be more specific. Which folder's permissions are being modified, and how? What process are you running as root?
