Ok, I see I've created some confusion in my terminology; I apologize. And Uli, you are quite perceptive in figuring out that I had something else in mind. I made the mistake of using the terminology of my end-users. Sorry.

The window I was refering to is a window that opens when you double-click on a disk icon on the Desktop. You know, a window that shows you a list of filenames with their icons?

The only responses I've recieved so far tell me that it can't be done. I believe it can.
