For Cocoa integration with ODBC, you can use Andy Satori's open
source (BSD license) ODBCKit framework:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/odbckit
As of someone who has just recently picked up cocoa I can
recommend that. Well documented and I had no problem to get it
working for newbie like me. Now, if someone could just make a
decent ODBC driver for Filemaker Pro...
Unlikely. ODBC requires SQL functionality, and FileMaker doesn't
speak SQL. (I'm actually not even sure it has any relational
functionality. Does it?)
