Setting the application Icon

Hello everybody,
I've been trying to get myself back into programming and I've bought a couple books and I've been able to make it through a couple exercises by myself....

anyway...

I'm trying to find a quick little how-to to set the application icon.... It's probably some kind of easy step that I missed by trying to "get back into the swing of things"

If you can point me to a link or something, I would be very thankful.
