Hi Ken,
If you want to do some sophisticated networking I would suggest
looking at NetSockets by Blackhole Media. I spent quite some time
looking for a full featured ObjC networking class/framework and didn't
want to go with OmniNetworking because it would be overkill for my
project. I found NetSockets and was very excited once I downloaded it.
It's very simple and easy to use.
