This is exactly the kind of post that generates a lot of traffic but little useful information. Phrases like, "it doesn't seem to be working correctly" and "it just doesn't like x" tell us exactly *nothing* about the actual problem you're having.

 At a guess, I'm thinking your mouseUp: method simply isn't being
called. Is that correct? If not, *what exactly is going wrong*?
