Hi Torsten,

Maybe I am looking at all the wrong places ...but just cannot find proper documentation on how to write plugins for either iPhoto nor iTunes. There is a SDK for iTunes visual plugins - but that's not what I am after. More import/export ...and things like that.

Any pointers?

If you make your Importer/Exporter external to iTunes you can interact with iTunes using a combination of Cocoa and AppleScript. It might not be quite what you are looking for - but its a way of moving forward without using unsupported interfaces.

Cheers,
Dave
