Here you have an open source rss class for cocoa
http://ranchero.com/cocoa/rss/

This class is used in NetnewsWire. You can also look at http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Cocoa/ Conceptual/NSXML_Concepts/NSXML.html about parsing XML, but i think first link is more useful.
