Hey folks,
just wondering if anyone has any tips with working with XML files, particularly RSS feeds to podcasts using cocoa.

If you are using 10.4 and up, NSXMLDocument does a nice job of parsing an XML file into a tree structure of NSXMLElements. For 10.3 compartibility, you can use NSXMLParser.

The open source Google Data Objective - C library http://code.google.com/p/gdata-objectivec-client/ is an example of wrapping NSXMLDocument in a domain specific layer. Since Google Data is an instance of ATOM, just like most RSS feeds, you may discover that the Google Data library itself is just what you need. If not, looking at its source code may give you some ideas for your RSS reader.
