Keynote Slide Aggregator and XML Schema

Dear All,

Sorry if this is the wrong group to ask this - I thought there used to be a keynote dev group.

I am interested in writing a cocoa application that allows the browsing of a collection of keynote slides, drawn from multiple imported keynote presentation files. One can then dynamically create and export a new presentation drawn from the library of existing slides.

Does this sound like a useful idea?

Is there enough up-to-date information in the iWork programming guide <http://developer.apple.com/documentation/AppleApplications/ Conceptual/iWork2-0_XML/iWork2-0_XML.pdf> about the xml schema for APXL to allow this?

Has anyone written a keynote viewer that parses apxl?

I've seen the previous thread on a keynote viewer, public apis for keynote file manipulations (and 'quick look' capabilities). There is a QuickLook directory in Keynote file bundle (produced by keynote 4.01) but that is a single thumbnail JPG of the first slide,

I am interested in what the current take (post iwork 08) is on independent keynote development and 'open' access to the file specs.

Regards, Ian
