I am digging into Leopard's Objective-C runtime. In some Cocoa classes I see selectors named "<ignored selector>". I do not remember seeing this in older version of Mac OS X. What are these ignored selectors?

Georg, are you looking at the GC runtime? These could be retain/ release/autorelease, which are ignored under GC.
