Our client is seeking a software engineer experienced with the integration of web-deployed services and resources (via HTML, PHP, XML, SOAP, REST, and similar technologies) with their MacOS X client applications.

Inspired use of Javascript, AJAX, WebKit plugins, Quicktime, Flash, etc, will be used to achieve this level of integration with the MacOS X applications (for the "out-of-browser" experience) while remaining flexible enough to evolve as new content formats become available.

Essential Responsibilities

* Directly participate in design and implementation of integrated web services in MacOS X applications.
* Maintenance of product release process.
* Regular status updates and communication with management.
* Communication with product development leads, product definitions team, and QA group.
* Team code review and maintenance.
* Ensure that project source code follows company guidelines.
* Team members training and mentoring.
* Prepare and maintain project technical documentation following company guidelines.


Job Specifications/Requirements

* BS in Computer Science or equivalent
* At least 8 years experience in team software development with application-hosted web services
* Have implemented an application with client-hosted web views, Quicktime, and/or Flash
* Solid knowledge of MacOS X WebKit, including WebKit plugins
* Excellent problem analysis and debugging skills
