Sorry for the caps, not sure how else to try and get everyone's
attention.
This thread has been interesting and useful. In order to continue to
keep it so (if there is even anything left to be said) please keep in
mind the following.
- Don't debate the languages involved. Objective-C is the reality.
Selected other languages are supported via bridging.
- Keep personal messages off the list. If it isn't likely to be
relevant to a large number of list subscribers, please send the
message off list. If you're not sure, contact the admins.
Finally, there are mechanisms in place to provide feedback on what the
docs cover, what they don't, and that entire process. Every
documentation page has a link that allows you to do that for the
specific document. If you have general issues, please file them using
bugreporter. Doing this will get them into our tracking system.
The other option for providing overall feedback on the documentation,
sample code, and the developer experience in general is by contacting
WorldWide Developer Relations (WWDR).
I am in no way attempting to stifle the discussion. But it does need
to be shepherded to the appropriate forums (which in this case may not
be this particular forum).
