Stop Power to USB port

  • Thread-topic: Stop Power to USB port

Hi everyone.

I am working on a project that involves when a USB port is requesting a
certain amount of energy, it will shut it off (and then turn it on if the
user says it is okay). I have gotten the first part done (checking if the
port is using to much power) but I have not figured out to shut off/turn on
power to a USB port. I am wondering if there is some way to do this,
without having to hack the system. ;)

Sincerely,

Pierce F.
