RTFD -> HTML ( NSHTMLTextDocumentType )

When converting an AttributedString to HTML per http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?HTMLFromRTFD all the links begin with file:///.

So trying to open the result in a browser results in broken links for all the images since apparently file:/// signifies the root directory. Why aren't the links relative? Am I missing something obvious?
