Hi,

I'm an experienced C++ developer but a relative newbie to Objective- C and Cocoa and am learning my way.

I'm porting a program to Mac OS X Cocoa and part of the requirements is a CAD-like functionality. A substantial part of the rest of the program is already written in Cocoa.

You might consider my framework DrawKit, which I've designed for general-purpose vector drawing, but also with CAD-like applications very much in mind. Info and download at:

In fact this week I just released an update that adds a number of improvements, one of which is BSP (binary search partitioning) which helps the drawing model scale to very large numbers of objects.
