Hello all,

I have a custom view in an NSToolbar. I would like this item to expand as much as possible, similar to NSToolbarFlexibleSpaceItemIdentifier, or similar to the address bar in Safari.

I was hoping that setting the min and max size on the NSToolbarItem would cause this to happen, but it does not.

Is there some trick to this?

thanks

Setting the minimum and maximum size should be enough. See the search field in the SimpleToolbar example (/Developer/Examples/AppKit/ SimpleToolbar/) for sample code.
