When the managed object is removed, didTurnIntoFault is called and the custom data caches are deleted. When the user does an undo on this action the managed object is fetched but awakeFromFetch is never called so the custom data caches are now missing.

On 10.5 and earlier, you’ll have to re-create your data caches in an on-demand accessor.


On 10.6 and later you can use -awakeFromSnapshotEvents: to re- establish them.
