Key Equivalents enhancement request

  • Subject: Key Equivalents enhancement request

Don't know if anyone else would find this useful, but if so, I would encourage you to file your own enhancement request. Mine is rdar://8721395. The request is as follows:

One is allowed to assign a key equivalent to controls, but there is no standard way for the user to see what key equivalents have been assigned to various controls on the UI.

It would be nice if the work to display what the key equivalent assigned to a control was done by Apple so it could be consistent across all applications.

This kind of functionality may have Accessibility advantages as well, making it easier for people restricted to using the keyboard to jump around the interface using the key equivalent for various controls._______________________________________________
