What Greg said. Note that a lot of major big-ticket Mac apps contain large amounts of C++ code — Photoshop, MS Office, etc. Most cross-platform apps are C++ at their core, even if they have a Cocoa UI layer. That includes even some Apple apps like Safari and iTunes.
