In regards to the iOS, if it hasn't been release for the target platform(s), then it's still under NDA. Next, if you're a developer, then it should be pretty clear from the release notes as well the warning signs that appear on the iOS specific web pages. Last but not least, if you're not sure, then simple post a note to the mailing list.
