[ANN] CocoaHeads-NYC tonight, Wed 10/13

  • Subject: [ANN] CocoaHeads-NYC tonight, Wed 10/13
  • From: aglee <email@hidden>
  • Date: Wed, 13 Oct 2010 16:16:57 +0000 (GMT)

Our meeting date this month will be Wednesday Oct 13 (tonight) rather than the usual Thursday.

I'll be doing a quick show-and-tell of how to get a WebView to talk to Cocoa, via JavaScript.

Daniel Jalkut will show his Web Inspector.

Bob Clair is generously contributing three copies of his book to raffle off.  Check it out:

Learning Objective-C 2.0: A Hands-On Guide to Objective-C for Mac and iOS Developers

WEDNESDAY, Oct 13
6:00 - 8:00
Downstairs at Tekserve, on 23rd between 6th and 7th
<http://tekserve.com/about/hours.php> for directions and map
Everyone's welcome. Just tell the person at the front you're there for CocoaHeads.

As usual:

(1) Please feel free to bring questions, code, bugs, and works in progress. We have a projector and we like to see code and try to help.
(2) We'll have food and beer afterwards.  It was Shake Shack last month, so in theory it should be pizza this month, but nothing's written in stone.
(3) If there's a topic you'd like presented, let us know.
(4) If *you'd* like to give a talk (and you know you would!), let me know.  It can be brief and casual or as painstakingly prepared as a Steve Jobs keynote.  Up to you.

Hope to see you there!

--Andy
