Internal target="_blank" NSRequests are NIL.

I am trying to redirect <a target="_blank" >  requests to a new window.    I set the UIDelegate and implement the method:

- (WebView *)webView:(WebView *)sender createWebViewWithRequest:(NSURLRequest *)request

The request parameter is always coming across as nil when I select a link in the WebView that targets _blank.

Any ideas?
