[iOS] Any way to connect to serial port in simulator?

  • Subject: [iOS] Any way to connect to serial port in simulator?

Is there any way to connect to a serial port under the emulator? Calls like open() and fcntl() are hidden in the headers, as are constants like O_RDWR, O_NOCTTY, et al.

I'm a licensed MFi developer, so I can actually connect via the EA framework on a device, but it's a pain to not be able to use the simulator, and the hardware isn't quite ready yet.
