Graham - get over it, dude! Not because you're wrong, but because you're shaking your head about the *wrong* thing. You haven't seen the half of it yet. Just wait until the debug area (including the console) start popping up and down into your code editing area.

Sometimes it pops up a little way.

Sometimes it pops up a long way.

Sometimes it fails to pop.

Sometimes it pops but when you stop the app it doesn't pop back down.

It's non-deterministic programming! Trust me, you will wear out your mouse hand just dealing with the fact that there's no universal console window any more. m.
