Hello Jonny,

This might be something you might want to give to your users as an option that they can control.

For example, a "enable auto-save" checkbox in your Preferences with a "every _____ minutes" option.

What kind of application are you writing and when, in your opinion, would users intuitively need a backup (or version) done?
