TextEdit Document Icon

A TextEdit plain text document has a file icon that shows a page with turned down upper right corner with a preview of the document and has the characters “TXT” on top.

In looking through the TextEdit sample code provided by Apple, I am trying to find where the plain text document preview and “TXT” overlay is implemented. Does anyone know where this code is located?

Thanks.

Richard Charles
