Yes, taken together with the explanations from Jens and Quincey. I was wondering if maybe there was some simple way to fix this, but apparently the answer is “Sorry, you need to tweak each line by hand".
And I think Quincey’s answer confirmed my suspicion that this a non-issue in Retina displays, and a good business case can be made just ignore it and move on.
