I'm not able to say one way or the other that this (TID) is the cause of the
metamerism issues with any of the Epson pigmented ink printers. I know that
with all the packages I've used, I can produce a very nice looking print
under D50 with varying differences in quality of course. Outside of D50 and
all bets are off. I did see an option in Monaco's Proof that allowed the
user to set a maximum Ink settings when creating a profile. I didn't find
messing with this one setting made a profound effect on the issue of
metamerism.
I am a Praxisoft users and look forward to trying out version 3.0 or
CompassProfile.
