The cartridges for the 7XXX printers are different than the 9XXX. They will
not fit. You can upgrade your 9000 to a 9500 (archival inks) for $2000 from
Epson technical support. It is a one way upgrade. You can't use either or
inks. Once you upgrade you're on 9500 archival inks for good (which is OK if
that's what you need).
The Epson 7000 and 7500 are two different models with no upgrade / down
grade path between them.
