Recently a few photo labs have installed fuji frontier printers
that print onto fuji crystal archive paper.
I was wanting to generate a printer profile for this machine.
However the lab manager says that currently the frontier
software, scanner and printer are all targeted to work and print
in sRGB space. As a consequence the lab converts all digital
files into sRGB space before printing.
If the fuji frontier is natively sRGB then it seems a bit tragic
for what is otherwise a great printer.
Has any one on this list profiled a fuji frontier and knows for
sure if what the lab manager says is true?
