Unfortunately, my lab didn't have a clue about the important
differnce until seeing my test.

I have been working with several Frontiers as well.

The workflow appears to support sRGB as well as "unspecified" input - at least it will. At this time it will only allow input of sRGB images but it has the provision - to be activated in future versions - for the input of non-sRGB images. Presumably these could be images that could take full advantage of the device gamut that were already converted using a profile.

The thing I found that was interesting was that the data and the gamut did not conform very closely to sRGB at all. The gamut is a very different shape - this does not surprise me at all as "real" sRGB is a working space. But the data also does not seem to conform to sRGB at all. ie: any RGB values sent to the Frontier do not produce Lab readings that are any where near RGB:Lab from true sRGB.

The Frontiers seem to produce good output overall and offer an effective automated printing solution but I don't see how Fuji can call it sRGB.
