Well sure. In both cases, you're sending a printer a file in a Working
Space. What you really wanted to do was convert FROM sRGB and ProPhoto into
an output space. The test is only valid in illustrating that of the RGB
Working Spaces you have at your disposal, sRGB is closer to the ideal output
space of this device but doesn't tell you have much closer you'd be if you
had a true output profile. The test is valid if we only had the option of
sending Working Spaces to output devices. But we don't nor should we be
doing this. We should be converting from a Working Space to an Output Space.
