HARLEQUIN Based RIP

Does anyone have any familiarity with Harlequin based RIP technology. We
have a Visual Edge RIP that is based on this technology and are having
problems developing accurate color profiles. After several tests by
different people using different profiling software, we have come to the
conclusion that some of our problems may be caused by whatever software is
handling the color transformations at the RIP level.
If anyone could respond that can discuss this with some expertise, we would
appreciate it. We have emailed Harlequin directly, but to date have received
no response.
