I would stick to 98 or 98 SE (Untill everyone upgrades their software
to work with 2000)

Most any card is fine as long as you stay away from the low end or
onboard video. (My TNT works just fine)

Yes, .icm or .icc are necessary (From what I see of OSX, Mac uses
might as well get in the habit of adding file ext)
