In a sense your system is the inverse of what Chris was talking about;
eliminating the differences instead of controlling the match of such
inter-spaces. The patented color overlap calculation method used in the
Cactus RIP is actually the only system I have ever used that actually dealt
with proofing such interspaces successfully.
