Since there have been some real improvements in the monitor profiling of
both hardware and some software there's a question that I have about a
bothersome screen shot (s) of a ad for the LaCie Blue Eye calibrator. The UI
looks exactly like the free downloadable software from the Sequel called
ProColor if memory serves me right. The resulting profile and calibration
based around a 11 step gray scale and 3 primaries made with a Sequel III was
not up to par with ProveIt! or Optical.
Could someone confirm that the Blue Eye software is indeed similar to the
free Sequel offering?
It's already clear that they've wrongly placed the product but if this is
the case their competition will be doing well!
