Correct. The printer control panel would need some sort of direct TIFF
printing capability, or there would need to be a Photoshop export plug-in or
something to complete the loop.

What I was hoping to get from this was a temperature reading for usefulness
of an inkjet driver that had tighter integration of ColorSync and color
management by using CMYK profiles directly. What I'm learning is that
although it might be a nice idea, it's really only useful to a _very_ small
number of people, people who probably are not in my customer base.
