Yes, I've done exactly like you've said exept one thing: I have custom profile for HP created through ImationRIP.
I've renamed it with the PreadyReady profile's name, set press emulation etc...
I know, that different RIPs can give differnent results but I didn't ever thing that the difference are so big!!!
Screening looks near equal, but colors looks extremely different. Maybe I've done a mistake when
I've thought: one printer and near equal screening should give near equal results. (I haven't enough time to
make a custom profile for HP/PressReady pair so I've decided to dodge).
And what is your opinion - does PressReady a good proofing RIP? Which usual rendering intent looks closely to PressReady's CMYK-2-CMYK one?
