how can we use PressReady like proofing RIP?
PressReady's only RGB>CMYK conversion intent is preceptual. How it does it's
internal conversion from press to proofer is less clear. But you need to
understand how profiles are applied in PressReady before you can even decide
what its doing. You can set a press for emulation, but in order to build a
custom inkjet profile you most set CMYK to undefined in the control panel,
and once your profile is built, you must replace the canned PressReady
profile for that resolution and paper type with your custom profile, renamed
with the PreadyReady profile's name. Then you can use your new inkjet proofer
profile with a selected press profile to do proofing. If you haven't used
this process, you haven't been getting custom proofing results from
PressReady.
