Thanks Steve for your suggestions. I did trash the ColorSync cache file
and restarted the Mac but no Rabbit popped out of the hat, profiles are
still missing in action.

I would do your matching inside Photoshop or somewhere else entirely.

This is my typical work flow for using these custom profiles: Open the
RGB file in Photoshop, select print, for space I choose LAB, for Color
Matching I select ColorSync, the rendering I want, and then my Custom
profile, then for the Printer Specific Options in this case the Fiery
for the Epson 5000, I select Print Mode and use the same one I used for
printing the targets for this custom profile - this option can not
disabled when printing to the Fiery, CMYK Simulation is set to none and
RGB Source is set to off.

So, to bypass to Printer Driver handling things should I do a P2P from
MyRGB to the custom profile and then choose this same profile for the
Space tab in Photoshop's print dialog window? Then just leave the Color
Matching tab set to Color/Grayscale, right?

Could one alternately use the ColorSync Filters for this as well and
then even add the ability to cross render using the Proof Tab?

Thanks,

David.
