Color Vision PhotoCal and Optical both have a pre-cal utility that will
make it easy for you to set the internal RGB guns on the monitor. With
Blue Eye, it's done automatically. With PhotoCal or Optical, you will
need to use the menu system on the monitor itself to do it, but the
effect is the same. After you complete that step, the remaining
calibration and profiling process is automatic.
So the capability is the same, it's just that Blue Eye talks to the
monitor for you, and with Optical and PhotoCal you have to do it manually.
