Epson 5000 with Bestcolor

Hy Group!

I have been trying to get a good color match to my matchprint analog
proofing system with the above combination but I seem to have a problem
especially in the yellows.

I went through the linearization procedure and then chose a max color of
200% to be appropriate. With these settings I printed a printopen chart and
made a
paper profile with printopen3. As output profile I am using our matchprint
profile
which has proven to do a good job in the past and also works pretty well
with the
standard bestcolor profiles and the according paper.

When I use my own paper profile with my matchprint output profile I have
quite an offset in the yellows. I find the yellows to be to lemon like (too
light,
clean, or fresh) but I can't really find a good expression to explain this.

I am now looking for a good starting point to optimize the whole procedure
and I would like to hear how others got a perfect match with this
printer/software
combination.

Daniel
